Happy new year everyone! A bit later than usual, but here is the next monthly raffle^^ Everything has been a bit hectic what with Christmas and New Years and what not, which is why I've posted this journal a couple of days later than planned. And why I'm still finishing up last month's request OTL The last few requests have gotten a little out-of-hand. I didn't spend as much time on them as I would for a 'proper' drawing, but I still went beyond my initial idea to do simple coloured sketches for these requests. My Thomas, I miss you so much!!! It has been way over a year now since we were last able to talk. Thank you for teaching me a bit about your world, keeping me uplifted during some tough times, your eloquent words, your wit & humor. I truly fear that something really bad has happened with your health, or that you are no longer alive. This saddens me very much.

A void has been left in my heart.

I'm sad to see this may be a possibility. He always left comments on my artwork that were so introspective. I was cleaning my deviantart up today, and was reminded of this. Here I am!

I loved/still love reading them & I was touched someone felt compelled by my art to think such things. In such a fast moving world - especially online - he seemed to take his time & thus, appreciated the art more. Wish I had that discipline. Hope he is ok.

It has been 2 years since I last had contact with him. I still think of him & miss him. I first met him on here back in 2008 (possibly even earlier) when I had my first DA page under a different name. It comforts me to know that you miss him too. He had a profound impact on me & became a very close friend. You are correct, he was one of the few who really took the time to appreciate us & our art. He will always hold a very special place in our hearts. <3 Take care!!
